I had to find out on the national high school board. my bad Pack....they played St.Aug. St. Aug has tons of talent.. And they got one of the best coaches in the state....Cyril Crutchfield. They beat JC last yr, but they had the best player in the nation Leonard Fournette on their team. A little shocked they beat JC, but Crutchfield can coach. When he was the coach at 1a South Plaquemines,..they beat 4a schools all the time. (because in LA, its routine for schools to play other schools 2 to 3 classifications apart). at the end..JC will probably be playing for the trophy once again....Its almost a given in LA Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As far as the DB's....JT has two solid CB's in Warren and Williams. However, as stated above, Coutee lines up in the slot so he will not face the corners in a one on one match up. Turnovers will be the key in this match up though....If Lufkin takes care of the ball it will be a very close game but if they don't then I see JT running away with it. Very unpredictable from week to week. If they play like they did the first three games, then we may have something to talk about later, but if it is like the last two weeks, then we know the out come no matter what the Lufkin O can do. Don't forget you guys haven't been playing good teams. Lindale and whouse have weak defenses. Tyler lees isn't either. Lufkin is better not sure how much better but better. Lufkin will bring their a game this one will be tight plano has a solid defense, longview has a pretty nice defense outside of their secondary, lee's defense Is fundamentally sound, Lindale's defense was horrible, and Whitehouse defense is bad but two D1 recruits in the secondary one committed to A&M and one commited to north Texas.
