trueblue82 Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Shelbyville wins this one because of their ability to control the line of scrimmage on offense. Their offense is a different animal that takes some work to wrap your hands around. A lot of it is in their blocking scheme, and a lot of it is in how quickly they work once they break the huddle. They don't give you defense any time to make pre-snap adjustments. They will move the ball and score. Beckville's potential to stay in the game will depend on how well they move the ball when they have it, which will keep Shelbyville's offense off the field. Defending the veer and the double wing are similar in that it requires discipline. Shelbyville has this on defense. Their kids will know their assignments and stick to them.
