BlazeSilverstar
Every time I look at the weather for Rockwall it keeps getting colder. NOAA is now saying 39 for a high today and 22 for low tonight! Everyone have a safe trip to the game and pray the teams have no injuries. Yea its going to be a downright balmy 34 Friday night compared to your frigid 22 tonight!
faderoute
It will be freezing tonight, but it will not stop the Vandals from staying hot. Tonight they will show up in Rockwall and give it all they've got. Bryain Roberts is a beast; like I've aforementioned. The receiver he is covering will not get much attention. Riley Krumvieda is a stud outside backer. Going hard the whole game, this guy is no slacker. Layton Myers has been scoring all year; TD's left and right. It shouldn't be any different as we play Paris tonight. Matt Savis will truck anyone, not afraid of his opponent. A definite threat to score, at any given moment. Borgeson should have a few sacks, playing on the line. When he contains the QB the defense should be just fine. Accompanying Myers at receiver, is the studly number six. Luke McGowan with solid hands is sure to get his fix. Kendrick Jones has the speed at any time he could score. Any defender trying to cover him will surely have a chore. Jax Tobias at safety, he might have another pick, With his speed on defense he can make an QB sick. Another safety stud goes by the name of Brett Doring. All year he has been deep and kept opponents from scoring. Xavier Sherman at corner, is sure to lockdown receivers. A long pass or touchdown, he is allowing neither. Number 11 Peter Maddox has been slinging the rock all year. And tonight the trend shall continue, the streak will not stop here. Look for Cooper Bledsoe to again be player of the week. His aggressiveness and speed simply cannot be beat. Reeves and Houston at linebacker, laying down the hits. I would not at al be surprised if the offense would want to quit. Josef Ruiz is clutch; his solid kicking game will wreck. He is known for keeping the return teams in check. Cole and Sartain will shut the offense down. Sartain is known for batting passes to the ground. Buchanan, Boroughs, and Ford on the D-line will be beast. I feel a sack lunch coming, enough to be a feast. Platter and Thomas are threats on the offensive side. They will "eat" tonight, its just a matter of time. Cody Jones is another player who can cover a receiver all night. He might have an INT or 2 if he plays the position right. Deundre is always capable of gaining major yards. This kid is fast, and stopping him is hard. Hunter Redmond has been an anchor all year, smashing whoever carries the rock. Good luck trying to block 35, his motor never stops. Jacob Fattig can come in at any moment and light up a back. Or if they decide to pass he might get there for the sack. Dike, Carpenter, and Boyd are experts in protecting Maddox. Gandy, Santos and Etheridge, also help and provide holes for Matt Savis. Nosworthy, Laredo, and Chambers can also provide a block. Helping to get first downs when Thomas totes the rock. If you want to watch a stud D-tackle, look no further. Chitwood is the guy to get through and hurt 'em. Last but not least, there is Abel Laredo. On the D-line causing havoc like a freaking tornado. If I left anyone off, I deeply apologize. One thing is for certain though, we will leave Paris traumatized. I am extremely proud of the 10-0 team. Entering the 2014 playoffs with a full head of steam. Let's go into Rockwall tonight and take care of business. Everyone come watch, it will be a great game to witness.

WiseGuy
Did not realize this game was today also. Sticking with Paris in this one. If they play to their potential I dont think Van can beat them. Paris' inconsistency has killed them, but if their QB has a big game they will win. If they dont find consistency, Van wins...but im hoping it being the playoffs the Wildcats come out firing on all cylinders. Good luck staying warm tonight guys, temps almost makes me glad I can't make it to the LE game lol

I'm hoping there's a verse to come with a similar ending. BTW, we've been told that Rockwall ISD will allow fans to bring their portable heaters into the stadium. Sounds like a soccer match is about to break out. Also, I feel like Ralphie's little brother in A Christmas Story who's so layered up that if I fall I won't be able to get up. Please, no 3.5-hour marathon tonight. I don't need frostbite added to my other ailments.
stevosev7
Paris and Van played their two common opponents in similar fashion. Paris could've put 60 on NL. The Pittsburg game was a hangover from the week before against Princeton (who laid the same egg against North Lamar). Paris has 2 awesome running backs, Jr. and Soph. who returned from injury last week. For the most part, Paris QB, Quez Allen, has taken great care of the football and with 47 passing yards, he'll be the first player in school history to pass for 2,000 and rush for 1,000 in a single season. And he's a junior as well. Look out for #44 and #7 on defense. 44 was all-state hm last season and 7 is one of those kids who the coaches needed to mature before putting him on the varsity. But he's a monster. My concern on Paris is kickoff coverage and defending the deep ball.

stevosev7
Also, Paris could've gone 10-0 with Van's schedule. Van opponents went 29-71 this season. Meaning their average competition was 3-7.
