Burgay Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Just calling it like I see it. Ive spent plenty of time in both towns, and it's a toss up as to which one Id least like to live in I usually don't get on these kind of sites but is was brought to my attention that you were on a football topic about football running down my home town. I was blessed to have been born and raised in this so called dump town, and am fortunate to be the dad of two fine kids that go to this dump school, one of which plays for the team of this dump towns school. I don't understand getting on a football site about schools where these young men love to play ball and running down their school and town. Just wish the garbage like you would stay off sites like this or at least have the back bone to post your name. Anyway good luck to Timpson win or loose you never gave up on the season even when you were 0-4 and giving up would have been easy. You have made us all proud Stephen Burgay
ProtectOurHouse Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Burgay- I totally agree! I too have been blessed to raise my two children in the great town of Timpson! Timpson is a Great Town, Great School, and Great family! Love it or hate it -the above nasty comments were not necessary on a football site. No I do not have children on that team playing Friday night, but my children wear Black and Gold PROUDLY and one day they will be there. I normally do not comment on here, but felt compelled to support the Bears when so many do not. So many folks discount Timpson year after year. That's ok, the Bears don't mind being the underdogs. They like flying right under the radar. These are some of the finest young men in Texas and I am proud to know most of them. They play like a team with all they have. It would have been easy to quit early on this year, but they gave it their all and have nothing to hold their head about. It is their time. No matter what boys- Leave it all on the field Friday night. Do not let disgruntled "has beens" bring you down. You have nothing to prove to anyone other than yourselves. Yes I will be there on Friday nite, rain or shine cheering on my Bears. We Timpson Bears, carry ourselves well, with class/dignity/respect, and represent The Town of Timpson with high standards. Pirate62 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Chilton started the year 1-2. Made the necessary adjustments and have also turned their season around. Like I said watched some film on Timpson and was impressed. Trust me...no one from Chilton is overlooking the Bears! We are prepared for a hard fought game!
