Pack007
Not sure what was the best year to beat em. 02 imo..
LufkinPanthers06
Lufkin, SV and Abilene still had chances to beat them that year, but obviously didn't. I don't think they were that much better than us, but they made the plays to win it in the end. We were definitely better than them in 02 imp. Horrible play calling and a ref needing to get his eyes examined messed us up late in that one. They have the trophies though and that's all that matters. Yea they were up 27-9 on us at half in 04.. Only for us to tie it at 30 later.. I still say pass interference should've been called in the end zone on the last play. That guy was all over J-Lane
LoboFan80
If we can avoid injuries to key positions it will help.
Greenville
Corsicana: Won 2 (1932, 1963), Lost 2 (1982, 1997) Ennis: Won 5 (1975, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2014) Greenville: Won 1 (1933), Lost 1 (1935) John Tyler: Won 3 (1930, 1973, 1994), Lost 2 (1955, 2000) Longview: Won 1 (1937), Lost 3 (1997, 2008, 2009) Lufkin: Won 1 (2001), Lost 1 (1943) Marshall: Won 1 (1990), Lost 2 (2004, 2005) Mount Pleasant: Lost 1 (1973) Sulphur Springs: Won 1 (2008) Texas High: Won 1 (2002) Hallsville, Jacksonville, Lindale, Nacogdoches, Pine Tree and Whitehouse have never been to a state title game. Just came across this. Greenville also claims the 1919 state title; they were unbeaten and unscored upon. It's considered unofficial though, as the UIL doesn't recognize state champions before 1920. As for this year, realistically...don't wanna say anything negative about our team, so I'll just leave it alone.

13TX
The greatest high school football player I've ever seen is Cedric Benson. And as for my teams' prospects for the season... We will do whatever our offensive line allows us to do. Avoiding injuries would be helpful as well.
