The Firecrackers Girls Fastpitch Softball Organization was formed in 1990 with the intent of furthering the athletic and personal development of young ladies residing in Southern California. The Firecrackers geographical influence has since spread from California to Arizona, West Texas, Dallas / Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston Texas. The Firecrackers Organization is dedicated to the progressive advancement of players both as athletes and young ladies. It is our goal as an organization to teach our players important life lessons through the game of softball, such as discipline, hard work, commitment, perseverance, and the value of team work. To provide a level of training to our players that ensures the highest level of social and athletic development and growth. Being an Firecracker player means you understand that you are beautiful, certain of yourself, and very capable of playing the game. The Firecracker Organization is led by the organization's Nationally Acclaimed Instructor Tony Rico. The Firecracker coaches develop the highest quality and most competitive softball players in the country. The Firecracker Organization is committed to producing the finest fastpitch softball teams in the area while teaching sound fundamental skills and maintaining high educational standards. Our teams are highly respected, well coached, have community support and have positive parent participation. We are looking for the best athletes who are willing to work hard and dedicate themselves toward achieving their potential. The Firecracker staff only looks for those serious athletes who place an emphasis on developing their skills with a championship caliber team. We are looking for those committed players and families willing to work hard and dedicate themselves to continue the winning tradition. Our teams will compete at the highest levels in Texas as well as around the Country. Our coaching knows what it takes to get your daughter to the next level and will install that in them. We will provide the girls an opportunity to be seen by college coaches of all division. As a Firecracker we will be able to get into tournaments and showcases that most can not. Our coaches have competed at the highest level and have been working with college coaches, and top instructors for many years now. They have created great relationship with college across the country. Our coaches have coached and helped players commit to the next level . From the East Coast to the West Coast such as; Mississippi State, Marshall University, Seaton hall, South Alabama, Kentucky, Iowa, Tyler Junior College, UTEP, University of Louisiana at Monroe, University of Santa Clara, West Texas A&M, and many more... This summer our Firecracker teams competed and placed in tournaments on the local level as well as the national level. Colorado 18U Super 64: 8 Firecracker teams (2nd Rico, 9th DFW Poole, 17th HTX King, 17th Blanco, 25th Brashear, 33rd Kaye, 49th Ensey, 49th DFW RWB) Colorado 16U Super 32: 6 Firecracker teams (1st Hinkle, 3rd Lutterloh, 5th Miller, 5th DFW Greenwell, 17th Brashear, 17th Blanco) Triple Crown Nationals 18U: 8 Firecracker teams (1 from DFW in top 40) Triple Crown Nationals 16U: 7 Firecracker teams (2 from DFW one with top 10 finish) Triple Crown Nationals 14U: 5 Firecracker teams (1 from DFW in top 20) Triple Crown Nationals 12U: Rodriguez finished 6th USSSA Select Elite Nationals 12U: CTX Brown USA/Junior Olympic Cup Nationals 18U: only one Firecracker team invited DFW Poole PGF 18U: 7 Firecracker teams Premier (Black) 6 Firecracker teams Platinum (RWB) PGF 16U: 8 Firecracker teams Premier (Greenwell) 2 Firecracker teams Platinum PGF -14U: 5 Firecracker teams Premier & 4 Firecracker teams Platinum (Reynolds) Think it feel it, don't show it or say it!
