COP KILLINGS WAY DOWN UNDER OBAMA PRESIDENCY

So far there has been 35 policeman killed in 2015. That would be on pace for 52 total this year. That would be the lowest count in this current century. 52 cops being killed is 52 cops too many in my opinion.

Why isn't any Right-Wing so-called news reporting this? Are they just politicizing the few cops who are getting killed ?

On-pace... It appears the pace is picking up thanks to a few extremist groups...

So numbers are down but no one can give Obama credit. I am sure if numbers were up Obama would get the blame...wonder why that is.

10 dead cops in a month and you really want to say numbers are down? If they were down, it's certainly not from anything POTUS has done. He's done nothing but criticize police and encourage this mess since he was inaugurated.

One would think they were down with the better equipment that officers have today with the various types of bullet proof equipment that they have. What I found amazing is deaths didn't even hit the 100 mark until 1910 : http://www.nleomf.org/facts/officer-fatalities-data/year.html?referrer=https://www.google.com/ . The highest year was 1930 with 301. Could it be that we're simply hearing about these killings more on the news than in the past ? The same with those that have been shot by law enforcement ? 2013 was the lowest year since 1949.

The statistics I saw it was only up 8.547 % from 2013 to 2014. I did have to edit my prior post to 2013 because there were 107 deaths in 2013 and 117 in 2014 according to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund site.

Exactly, anyone that can't see that has to had his head buried in the sand ... Barry has injected racism into dozens of these national stories ever since he was elected ...

Then that explains the inflated numbers that were presented by the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. It also explains in my mind, why police fatalities rose in the early 20th century, because many departments did not use automobiles before 1910. According to this story Detroit was the first to use police cars in 1909. http://www.policemag.com/blog/vehicles/story/2010/05/story-of-the-first-modern-patrol-car.aspx .
