Pewitt offense is in a lot of trouble. Hard to switch to spread an have success early when you don't have the athletes for it. The defense is not bad at all just need help from offense to stay off field. The kids still believe in the new coaches an offense don't think the fans do. Gonna be a interesting next couple weeks in Brahma Land!!

So what is your opinion now?

I don't recall anyone ever saying Pewitt would pass 30 times a game. Just because you line up in the spread doesn't mean you can't run the ball. I would bet Pewitt probably runs the ball 90% of the time this season.

if they are smart they will do that!

They will be running against 9 in the box and only 5 to block them though if you don't throw it but 1 out of 10 plays.

Nah, Jefferson played 2 deep safety all night safetys 20 yards off the ball why in the hell would you put 9 in the box on a team that through the ball 1 time into the grass at that??? Oh to let the 2 bowling balls they have as running backs to get a full head of steam!!! Congrats PG.

Yea I didn't understand the 2 deep safety scheme either, but im not the coach. At least #12 would come downhill and hit, can't say much for the other. But man Pewitt has some beef in that backfield and if you give them a headstart there something serious. By FAR, the best team Jefferson has played this year! Proud of both teams and good luck to both!!

Jeffersons ends got blocked all night long. When PP wanted to run inside or out they just pushed the ends at will. With a head of steam, those backs where very hard to bring down. PP had a good game plan and Jeff did nothing all night to make them change it. Good win for PP, Dawgs shake it off and get ready for the mustangs.
