topher805
Maybe he won it, or maybe Allen's shoulder is hurt more than we expected. Either way, can't say I am amped about Kyler getting the start...

WETSU
It's being reported Allen as a seperated shoulder. I do not believe for a second Murray beat out Allen outright.

I think he's hurt too but why won't Sumlin just come out and say it? He's making Allen look bad!
JustAFan11
@LauraMRutledge: A&M coaches told Kyler Murray he won't have a short leash & they plan to stick with him. Jake Hubenak would likely be next guy in. #Aggies
Lhornfan
Said it way back in the spring... either Allen or Murray will be gone after this season.
Stoney
Is Spavital capable of tailoring an offense to match Murrays strengths and minimize his weaknesses? Personally don't see it being possible.

Sportsfanatic1
It's being reported Allen as a seperated shoulder. I do not believe for a second Murray beat out Allen outright. Just a question why play him the 2nd half of the Bama game and why play him at all against Ole MISS? I don't think he beat him out either but something smells fishy or he didn't wont to set Murray up for failure OR the halftime whiskey had taken a hold on his judgement. Anyways lots of questions plus he waits to the SC game to do it. I honestly think he has a lot of pressure from the big wheels at aggy land to perform. They keep repeating how much they have spent and they want results now. Like beat Bama at home, etc. It's just hard to root for Murray now.

cats69
Sumlin said that Kyler's issue was addressed and he's fixed the issue. What they did behind closed doors nobody knows. But if he paid his dues, then there's nothing different here than the Kris Boyd incident or any other young kid screwing up and doing what they need to address the problem. Hope he plays well and gives the offense a spark it's drastically needed.

cats69
Nothing about this is like the Kris Boyd situation. Not even close! PLEASE explain it then. It's a young kid who made a mistake in the heat of the moment. Just like any other young person's mistake. If he's done what it takes to get back in the coaches good graces, and they learned from it, then good for him.

An ill-timed Tweet is nothing compared to an 18 year old cussing out an adult that also happens to be your coach. SMH at the "same thing".

Hookemhorns88
The only thing that the two have in common is that it probably happened before and they got away with it at the time.
Baron
One is immaturity the other a character issue not a mistake. Both are correctable. So far so good with Boyd. We'll see with Kyler if things start going wrong. If he continues to cuss coaches then it's a character issue.

If he acted that way toward anyone it would be a character issue!
