Kenneth32 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Well, tell the Lions they better get Plenty of Rest... Because they are about to Play the Best OF ALL TIME in Class 3A Texas High School Football History... +1 We Know This.
homegrown Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I made this comment because Kenneth kept boasting about holding Malakoff to 7. He actually commented on it twice. You and I both know, under normal weather conditions, Teague doesn't hold Malakoff to 7. As far as West doing a better job, I wouldn't doubt it, it's the 3rd round of the playoffs... That matters to high school kids. the game against Malakoff was for the district championship so I guess that doesn't matter to high school kids.
Allheartnoquit Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Well if we are going off common teams Rockdale lost to the Yoe 27-6 Rockdale lost to Teague 60-24 None of this mattered just giving Yall some more fuel lol
homegrown Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Come on Friday and may the best team win.
KellyLeak Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 You can't be one dimensional if you going to play deep in the playoffs. There is going to be bad weather. In the games y'all are talking about Teague would have loved to pass some to open other areas up but choose to play it close to the vest. They did have one big pass play in the West game. Friday game with West was played in much tougher conditions than the Malakoff game because of the wind, cold and wind chill around 28-30. Are y'all that thick headed?!? Here I am somewhat pulling and taking up for Teague and y'all want to beat your chests about holding Malakoff, whose offense relies on the passing game a lot, to 7 points... Of course you can't be one dimensional, that's why Malakoff put hung 44 on Yoe, something no one has done all year. Bad weather affects Malakoff and Gview, teams that can THROW. Teague doesn't fit that category, unless it's a terrible secondary. I'll be here all week exposing Teagues weaknesses and swimming in your domes. GO YOE!
WhosYoeDaddy Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Rockdale lost to Teague 60-24 WHAT?!?!?! Teague let Rockdale hang 24 on them!? Cameron only allowed 6 points by Rockdale?? I thought the Teague defense was lights out?? Just kidding, LOL! Common opponents offer very little insight into the game that will be played this coming Friday. Make all the comparisons you like, but Friday night it will be a whole different ballgame, with what I believe is the ultimate State Champ emerging victorious. Of course I believe it will be Cameron, but should Teague pull it off, I think they would go on to represent Region 3 and take the title as well.
KellyLeak Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 the game against Malakoff was for the district championship so I guess that doesn't matter to high school kids. district championship>3rd round of playoffs You do know what that sign in the middle means, right heard? Give me a break, nothing like the playoffs...

Believe I said none of this matters but thanks friend
homegrown Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 district championship>3rd round of playoffs You do know what that sign in the middle means, right heard? Give me a break, nothing like the playoffs... play every game like it's ur last.

24CentralTexas Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Just wondering how many (athletes) from Cameron have made it to play big time college ball or maybe NFL. I know Teague hasn't had many I would think there not the most wining 3A football team in the state of Texas
24CentralTexas Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 That is good you could think of one that quick.
24CentralTexas Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Seems like Yoe should get 7 points just for showing up Friday from reading all of the mystique, mojo, . I guess in away it is good to be confident but in the end it may be hard to swallow that piece of pie. Will have to wait and see. Good luck to lions they probably need everything they can get going up against CY besides being a very good football team.
yoemen06 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Just wondering how many (athletes) from Cameron have made it to play big time college ball or maybe NFL. I know Teague hasn't had many I would think there not the most wining 3A football team in the state of Texas Cameron is definitely the winningest program in all of 3A. Look it up buddy.
yoemen06 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Just wondering how many (athletes) from Cameron have made it to play big time college ball or maybe NFL. I know Teague hasn't had many I would think there not the most wining 3A football team in the state of Texas Dede Westbrook- starting wide receiver at Oklahoma. Tralund Webber- blinn college, committed to Oklahoma state Edgar Luna- Midwestern State Somali Wright- Tyler Junior College Jack Rhoades- Texas State Billy Pittman- 2nd leading receiver on Texas' 2005 National Championship team. Mike Perrin (current AD at Texas)- played at Texas under coach Darrell Royal Jafus White- Green Bay Packers Brandon Freeman- UTSA There are tons more but these are the most recent with 2 of the biggest older names.
Coach0001 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 You keep saying winningest program in 3a but this was 2a until the Uil moved everyone up a class last two years ago So I don't know how that all adds up if you are saying total wins or wins in specific classification?
Coach0001 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 As to the game at hand I think the teams are evenly matched Keys I think Teagues front 7 makes Yoe one dimensional Can Yoes qb make the big throws again? Can Teague get pressure on him? I think Teague will have success with running the ball can Teague qb gt some big throws when Yoe brings more help upfront to stop the running game? Saving my prediction for later just musing on keys to the game right now
24CentralTexas Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 To Whosyoedaddy,yoemen06 not disputing the wins, and you are right I don't think Teague cares about the wins either. All good things come to a end sooner or later that is a given that's my point nothing more nothing less.

They have the most total wins out of all of the teams currently in 3A. If that helps any

Saving my prediction for later just musing on keys to the game right now I think Cameron's balanced attack will keep Teague on their toes. Will they try and shut down #18 like Grandview did, or will they try and shut down #24? It's proven for 2 years now that it's virtually impossible to shut down both. As for running the ball against the Cameron D, I do agree they will have some success. Teague has 2 fantastic athletes in the backfield, and Cameron has struggled some against the run before. I just think the big difference is Cameron's ability to make necessary adjustments at halftime and utilize those adjustments. Time and time again, Cameron has come out with a different game plan after half that has worked completely in beating their opponent. I think that is the difference in this one. KellyLeak Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Sheppard can throw just as well as he can run. Come on slappy. No he cannot. He runs about like skinner throws. Apples and oranges there, but to say his passing ability is on the same level as running ability is absurd. I'm beginning to think you're the village dummy, even your homies disagree with most every opinion you have regarding the game.
KellyLeak Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 All the yo-yos are raving about rhoades' ability to make adjustments at halftime, yet I've never seen them do anything different in the 2nd half of ball games. What y'all are seeing is Yoes superior depth...
Yoenation Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 This time last year, I disagree. Simms is better this time last year than than sicory is right now. I think Sicory will end up being more dynamic by the time he graduates though. But between #1, #15 AND #19, we are more dimensional at the passing game. With the rain last week, we couldn't pass. We just ran Traion. Ready to have pretty weather to open up the game plan
