CACTUS Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Yes it should be. I think Crockett can take this game if they have improved their defense. I know they have the offense to do it. Not taking anything from Franklin. They are a good team. I'll go with the Dogs and District 11 in this one.
Pack007 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Madisonville stadium is small, but I still may go to this one. Good luck Crockett!!
jdawg2000 Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 Defense has improved a lot from the beginning of the season, I just hope ckt comes into the game ready to play, with there heads in the game 1
bootleg Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Franklin's secondary will be able to slow down Crockett's passing game. I don't know that Crockett will be able to stop Franklin enough to win. 49-28 Franklin.
jdawg2000 Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 Your right Madisonville stadium is small for a playoff game, but it's perfect for traveling bulldog fans..about 30 or 40 mile trip
CACTUS Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Was hoping to make the drive over but not to be standing. Never been to this stadium.
jdawg2000 Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 I've been a few times, but not for a playoff game
Mufasa78 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Yes it should be. I think Crockett can take this game if they have improved their defense. I know they have the offense to do it. Not taking anything from Franklin. They are a good team. I'll go with the Dogs and District 11 in this one.I knew you couldn't bring yourself to cheer for Franklin... This will be a great game and Franklin is ready for the challenge that Crockett brings.. I'm just glad Franklin is relatively healthy for this game.... Crockett and Franklin know each other well... We have been district mates in the past and have scrimmaged in recent years... I expect a packed house in Madisonville.. Just wish the visitor stands were bigger...our fans overflow those stands in a regular season game... I can't imagine how many people will be there for a quarterfinal game... Is it Friday yet?
Mufasa78 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Was hoping to make the drive over but not to be standing. Never been to this stadium.Home side has room... There will be no room on visitor side... It will be packed
homegrown Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 From one Lion to another I'm going with Franklin.
CACTUS Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Mufasa it's a District 11 thing. I promise if the Lions win I will be by the Lions side the rest of the way to NRG..
maxjean Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Home side has room... There will be no room on visitor side... It will be packed better get there thursday evening and get you a seat,if you were at abe martin friday night and that same crowd shows up that stadium will be full before 5 o'clock don't know who came up with the idea of playing here, gonna be way too small for a reg championship game.remember the ckt vs tatum reg final in athens the visitor side was full a hour before the game people were standing on the fence, luckly we got there at a little after 6.
topher805 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Game should.have been played in CS or Huntsville
maxjean Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 http://www.maxpreps.com/high-schools/madisonville-mustangs-%28madisonville,tx%29/football/videos.htm?videoid=c835cd81-3421-479b-8c5a-e465e1dc8c94 Â view of the visitors side wow..
maxjean Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 mabey they will change location before friday.
Mufasa78 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Mufasa it's a District 11 thing. I promise if the Lions win I will be by the Lions side the rest of the way to NRG.. I'll hold you to it
Mufasa78 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Crockett and Franklin were in the same district 2 years ago and they prolly want some revenge on the way we use to beat on them... This Crockett team is much more athletic than those teams... The new coach has turned things around in a hurry... Crockett offense will be a challenge but I think the Franklin defense is ready for that challenge. We will see if the Crockett defense is ready for the challenge the Franklin offense will bring. This will be a battle and the winner will represent region 3 well.
upullinmychain Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Crockett gon throw, Franklin gonna hit em, should be inneresting..
jacketgrad06 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I hate that this will be played in madisonville. Way to small to hold a playoff game of this size. With that said I am really hoping Crockett keeps playing like they have. When they really get going they are tough. I know Franklin will be strong. I will take Crockett in a close one.
