JohnnyFootball
Article in Texas Monthly How SEC wargaming and Aggie fears stopped a Texas Tech-A&M bowl game from happening txmnth.ly/1QtyUvF Saw it. Typical person citing Chip Brown and his "sources" which have been wrong more often than not ha That writer also claimed that the Texas vs Oklahoma State game was rigged. Grain of salt. It was either rigged or officiated by the most incompetent officials ever! Haha
JohnnyFootball
It was either rigged or officiated by the most incompetent officials ever! Haha No question the officiating was bad. But I don't think there was some full blown rigging going on.
topher805
Like it has been said before, A&M has nothing to gain and everything to lose by playing Texas or Tech. Whereas they have something to gain going to Tennessee. They recently gained commitments from the #1 LB and #2 Safety in the state. A good showing, in front of them, could solidify comittments. Opens more recruiting ground, while on the other hand, they already recruit Texas and recruit it well. Not saying I like the decision, because I dont, but there are more factors to this than meets the eye...
