Longtime Tatum AD/HC Andy Evans stepping down to Assistant AD beginning next year

Evans was 115-40 in 12-years as HFB coach at Tatum, including 3-State Championship appearances,

Evans won two state titles t Tatum in 2005 (W/Hutto) and 2006, (W/Littlefield), losing to Farmersville in the 2007 State Championship.

And, on a personal note, although he'll remain @ Tatum as an Asst. AD, coaching profession just lost one of the great gentleman in the game.

Hate to hear this, but only he knows what is best for himself in a time like this, hope Tatum counter punches this year behind them and rolls!

God bless Andy. I wish the best for him. And bravo to Tatum for taking care of him. A lot of schools would have just cut him loose. Tatum ISD just gained a lot of respect from me.
