Meanwhile, in the Pinstripe Bowl, we have two basketball schools (Indiana and Duke) playing a football game in a baseball stadium. And the weather in NYC is beautiful.

Very entertaining game.........way to go, duke........

There were about 100 people at the Heart of Dallas bowl between SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI and WASHINGTON...

From what I saw, they missed an entertaining game........

That's one thing that would help bowl attendence is to actually place team in a region where people care to see them.

When you get to the lower-tier bowls, you see a lot of teams that don't travel well. The Independence Bowl has a decent crowd, in part because they have a team from not too far away playing one that traditionally travels well. It's a long way from being packed, but they lost their sellout when they let their SEC-Big12 matchup get away from them.

Yeah, that is some of it.

But not many people in Shreveport care about Virginia Tech or Tulsa too. If they had a more regionally popular team like La Tech then it would have better attendence.
