JohnnyFootball
NC A&T is beating Alcorn pretty good to kick off bowl season. Meh game. But we have some decent enough games later today. BYU vs Utah should be good, and Arkansas State vs La Tech should be one to watch.

JohnnyFootball
Ugh see I didn't like confidence points. I feel like the national championship and playoffs are the most important, so they should be worth more. Same with the BCS bowls.

Coach Rab
Sad to see Chuckie Keeton go out with a loss from Utah St. The guy is a trooper. 2 ACL tears during his career there. He was a legit Heisman guy until his string of devastating injuries.

Valhalla
There were about 100 people at the Heart of Dallas bowl between SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI and WASHINGTON... That's one thing that would help bowl attendence is to actually place team in a region where people care to see them.
trueblue82
That's one thing that would help bowl attendence is to actually place team in a region where people care to see them. When you get to the lower-tier bowls, you see a lot of teams that don't travel well. The Independence Bowl has a decent crowd, in part because they have a team from not too far away playing one that traditionally travels well. It's a long way from being packed, but they lost their sellout when they let their SEC-Big12 matchup get away from them.

But not many people in Shreveport care about Virginia Tech or Tulsa too. If they had a more regionally popular team like La Tech then it would have better attendence.
