CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - According to Omar Villafranca of CBS News, Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend according to Fort Worth Police.

Fort Worth Police confirm Manziel was not arrested.

On November 17, 2015, the NFL said they will not discipline Manziel after a roadside incident with his girlfriend on October 12.

Manziel started in six games, winning two of them. In the six games, Manziel threw for 1,500 yards and seven touchdowns, and adding five interceptions. He missed the season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers, due to a concussion.

Forget football. This man needs help

Spoiled rotten all of his life. He also was so gifted in athletics (baseball and football) he never had to practice. He could drop baseball for 6 months at a time and grab a bat and drop 400ft+ bombs all day long. Hate to see so much talent wasted but it happens all the time.

This guy is going to be lucky to be in the league next year. I think he just went to rehab last year for image reasons, and didn't gain anything from it. It's not in this article, but I want to know why they sent a police helicopter to find him ? That's overkill to me. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25468113/police-used-a-helicopter-to-search-johnny-manziel .

Former Johnny Manziel girlfriend alleges he threatened to 'kill us both'

Stephanie Frazier

(KLTV) - East Texan Johnny "Football" Manziel remains in the spotlight for his troublesome off-the-field activities.

According to ABC affiliate WFAA in Dallas, they learned "harrowing details" of his alleged assault of girlfriend Colleen Crowley. They said that a source with access to the affidavit in the assault from last week says that Crowley has a restraining order against Manziel. She recounted details of a violent fight, saying he threatened to kill her and went further, saying "shut up or I'll kill us both," during an argument that began at restaurant Viktor Tangos, and ended at her Fort Worth apartment.

The affidavit, according to WFAA, says that Crowley thought Manziel might be on drugs or even having a psychotic breakdown. She alleges that he took her cellphone, and wouldn't let her call her family. She alleges that after smashing her phone after they arrived at her apartment, he went outside. She says she tried to use her computer to FaceTime her family to ask for help at that point.

She says when Manziel came back inside the apartment, he saw that she had tried to use the computer to get help. She says she was afraid for her life, and that she was able to grab a knife out of the kitchen. She says that Manziel then ran out of the apartment. She says that she then went next door to ask for help from neighbors.

Earlier this week, the Cleveland Browns announced that they plan to let Manziel go in March.

Browns executive vice president of football operations said in a statement on February 2, "We've been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field," Browns vice president of football operations Sashi Brown said in a strongly worded statement that unofficially ended Manziel's tumultuous two-year stint with the Browns. "Johnny's continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization...His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules."

GIFTED but probably never held accountable. After all he is and was Johnny Football.

I feel sorry for him and also his family. His father seems to be on to what may happen if he does not get help and soon.

INTERVENTION IS WHAT IS NEEDED. ( captials for emphasis).

Judge has granted a protective order to the GF. Dallas PD is also now investigating with the full cooperation from Kolleen Crowley.

This is definitely the end of his career. Now it is all about straightening his life out and getting the help he needs.

Just saying he needs to tell his side of the story. I won't ever blame the victim cause that's stupid and wrong. Truth is he a gifted spoon fed spoiled rotten guy. He needs good folks in his life, new surrounding, and a better attitude. Most importantly he needs help with his addiction.

The thing is, being gifted, spoon fed & spoiled rotten is what he's addicted to...😕

There is no real spin. He hasn't been convicted of anything, and in this country, people are innocent until proven guilty. Hth

To say it is a non issue is nothing but spin. The man, using the term loosely, has serious issues, whether or not he is innocent. Before he can have any chance at a career, he needs to leave the limelight completely and fix his own problems

What a shame to be so gifted with the natural ability that not only Manziel, but so many others are today, & yet they squander the opportunities afforded them by this ability to have more money than anyone would ever need in ten lifetimes, while regular folks struggle, getting up & "working" day in & day out just to pay their bills & TRY to put a little something aside for any hopes of one day retiring.
