A minor league player in the NHL All Star Game

I think it's bad that all leagues have All Stars or Pro Bowl players that shouldn't be there, but this takes the cake : http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/2016/01/19/john-scott-captain-pacific-division-all-star-game/79002170/ . I think too many fans took a puck to the head.

At the time he was voted in, he was in between the 'Yotes and the AHL affiliate, and he has logged significant time in the NHL. Do a little background work next time Dave

He was traded to Montreal and promptly sent down to the minors. He's scored 5 goals and 6 assists in 10 years. He hasn't even played in an NHL game since New Years Eve. All I've heard is he's a goon that they send out if they want someone taken out of a game.

Look at what his former teammates are saying about him. He also has 285 career games in the NHL. Not what I'd call a career minor league player. He's an enforcer, but he's not the Marty McSorley of 2015-16. Like I said, a little background work fixes everything
