So am I understanding then that you don't think Denver caused those 'breaks'?

 

That's not what I am saying at all. Denver's defense was outstanding. Even so, Carolina's offense had several chances to score and moved the ball pretty well. Carolina shot themselves in the foot with turnovers. Had they held onto the ball, they win the game. The biggest break of all was the catch that was called incomplete that wasn't overturned. That led to the early Denver score and set the tone for the game.

But things like fumble recoveries are completely random.

They aren't when a someone doesn't make an attempt to recover their own fumble.

Especially the one Cam didn't even try to recover. That will/should haunt him for a long while with his teammates.

Didn't see your post, but we thought the same thing just hours apart.

If a fumble is forced, then how is the recovery of that fumble random? Maybe in some instances you can call it luck that a team recovers a fumble, but there's nothing random about it. I mean, someone does have to recover the fumble, lol.
