After being 1 out and a 3-run lead away from being tied for a playoff spot, and losing the game, Chapel Hill can still salvage a tie for 4th with their last game being against Kilgore. No one in D-16 had a particularly good offense this season, but Bullard probably had the 2 best pitchers in the district and the best defense by a wide margin.
