JohnnyFootball
It's just incredible to me that most of the bigger high schools all have video boards. Back in 04, Hanby Stadium had one, although it was a new, top-of-the-line stadium that was used by all of the Mesquite teams.
Mavchamp
I agree..... insane. But I'm happy we are one of them. IIRC the first high school stadium I attended a game with a video board was Waco ISD in the 2004 playoffs.

CarthDawg77
LOL. Nope..... we aren't Carthage! Texan Drive Stadium in New Caney is THE High School Football Stadium all others dream of being... It serves Two schools; maybe some schools in this area should explore a joint venture such as this.
Mavchamp
Multiple ISD's working to build a stadium is brilliant.... too bad they would rarely make it work. Can you imagine how nice of a place could be built if Longview ISD, PT ISD, and Spring Hill ISD had worked together for ONE facility? The Texarkana ISDs? Paris? Palestine? Unfortunately schools like Marshall, Hallsville Nac, Lufkin..... we don't really have that option. We are sort of all stuck out there by ourselves. Greenville
Quick question: Mavchamp, I'm working on getting graphics together for the annual district standings. Do you know if Marshall is going back to their white helmets with the Mavs logo for 2016, or if they are sticking with the throwback Ohio State helmets permanently? I tried to PM you, but no luck. Mavchamp
We used both helmets last season. I would assume it would be the same this year. Sorry about the PM. I'm usually on my phone on SDC. Those are easier to see on a PC.

mav01
at the allstar game in tyler, our players wore the silver helmet and logo for first time. Not sure if that was a preview of next season or not but I liked how they looked.

Mavchamp
Who cares about darn scoreboards.... Geez... Anymore this all we care about.... Game is on the field !!!! No games in June and July to talk about. So people are excited about a great upgrade to our facility. And if I recall correctly........seems like I recall a 12-15 page thread on freaking WRINKLES on the turf at Lobo Stadium back in the day. It's summer.... it's slow. There's probably a thread about what stadium has the best cheese for their nachos.

Greenville
I just combined both versions into one flag. Trying something different. I've got a larger version, but didn't want to overload the board.
