I wouldn't go that far but they are good. Just cause they beat yall don't mean their untouchable by a smaller school. I love the passion you have for your team but man that pedestal your standing on is starting to rot away.

them beating us has nothing to do with that statement. It's an assessment of what they have as a team. And as far as my team and them goes well all indications show arps defense as one of the elite in D2. So putting up 24 points with an offense is a testament to how good Tatum can be. If you look close they are the only team we've played to score 2+ tds against the Arp defense. Hughes Springs had special teams scores. Alto got 7 and Waskom 7. Waskoms score came when Arp turned it over on the 20 on a special teams play. Of course Waskom was good enough to go 7 plays 20 yards to score. Take it like it or luv it or not Tatum is loaded and going to make a very deep run this year. Arps defense is proving weekly they are legit.

And while we are at it. Arp is defensive minded team. It's what we do really well. When folks judge teams they rarely look for a team that's a defensive team. At our level folks think offenses are all that matters. With our level of talent we sre going to score points. May not blow the good teams out but we will be hard to score on and you have to keep us from scoring. So far only Tatum has been able to out match that theory or game plan. We will see what EF and West Rusk bring. If we hold them both under 20 points then I'll say I was right. Honestly I don't think either get more than 14-20 points

I'm going with EF. Think they have something going right now. It's going to be a very interesting to watch it all play out this year. I hate throwing games this early in the season but whatever it takes to make this district stronger. Don't give up on those Wildcats just trying to make it interesting . EF 21-14

This game rides on the unsung heros in EF-- that offensive line.

Yep and the QB definitely has some Wr's to sling it to and that freshman RB is impressive also but I think EF biggest improvement is on the coaching staff that was my most concern

Arp proved that they can get in the backfield and disrupt the tempo. Getting to the EF QB and messing with his mind is key, in the past it has proven successful. #10 is NOT the only threat that EF has at receiver, if the Harleton game was any indicator. The passing game sets up their running game to be successful. Gonna pass 95% of the time. Arp has the edge as far as the kicking game goes. EF doesn't have a dedicated kickoff guy, so don't be playing too deep on the kickoffs. Expect low line drive type kicks, easily returnable as long as you are expecting them. Punting game isn't much more impressive, so a few good returns Will take you far. Arp has the speed to take advantage in the "kicking" game. I go to Church with several of the EF linemen and they have stated that "extra curricular" (IF you know what I mean) is encouraged by certain coaches on the staff, so be prepared if things don't start going their way. Arp definitely possesses the ability to get the job done defensely, they will have to show how good their pass defense is however. The key IMO for Arp offensively will be how well the QB performs. If he gives a repeat performance if the Waskom game, you will take this game with ease.
