SFA didn't show much. 6 years in a row for a Sam Houston win...not much of a "rivalry" now.... Last yr and this yr combined records SHSU- 15-4 SFA- 7-9 I think the score pretty much sums up the disparity in the 2 programs now. SFA is content with growing their basketball program and letting that build the university. Sam is building around football, and other sports are reaping the benefits. For SFA that's basketball, for Sam Houston that's football, just like you said. Look at the football hires at each school the past few yrs. SFA hires a football coach from another school in the conference. Sam Houston hires a coach that has won a National Championship. Like you said, priorities.....
