sackem
What was the total penalised yards on Atlanta? Did the get caught chop blocking, leading with the helmet to intentional hurt, or personal fouls?

CasualObserver70
Wow... Didn't expect this. And I have no clue what to make of this district. But I guess we will have a little more clarity after next week.

downtheline
Anything can happen but Pittsburg would have do play 100% mistake free and Atlanta would have to make several mistakes. Pittsburg has to be able to run the ball and LB play has to be better. If Atlanta gets up 14 early this could get ugly. Pittsburg is not playing with confidence. We will need some positive things happen earlyAtlanta did help Pittsburg with 3 huge turnovers. Pittsburg's biggest mistake was a mis-handled snap to the punter that gave Atlanta great field position on the Pittsburg 40 and scored a few plays later.. Pittsburg ran the ball well and Soph QB and receivers made big plays. Defense played lights out and most under rated play came from the OL. They took control of the game the second half. What surprised me the most was how Atlanta could not use their team speed. DL and LB play smothered Atlanta's RB's. Is this a turning point for Pittsburg? Or, did Atlanta not have a good game plan? BlackBeard
All I can think of is that Atlanta came in over confident and Pitt came in hungry for the win. I just hope H3llR4z0r doesn't take the loss too hard. All you have to do is keep getting stronger, make the playoffs, and try to run the table. Snowbird
Atlanta's defense is really underrated. Their LB play is excellent, and hopefully we will have our big DT back this week. Honestly, we're not sure how good they are in the passing game. Most of the teams we've played, we've stacked the box to attempt to force them to beat us through the air. We played well in the few plays that Tatum passed the ball last week. Not all of their QB's throws were on target, but the ones that were, our guys seemed to put themselves in the perfect position to make a play on the ball. Underrated? H3llR4z0r
Underrated?Snowbird, if you can't comment anything other than the imbecilic trolling comments, then just go away. You hide in your corner until you see an opportunity. If you don't have anything to say before games, don't come around making comments afterwards. You are by far worse than Lion70, because you disappear until Atlanta slips. You're just an Atlanta hater, and that's fine, just be that way in silence. You haven't had anything to do or say about Atlanta since their last loss, just go back into your hole where you're most wanted.

These boys came out expecting Pitt to just roll over and Pitt did everything but. Mix that in with some overconfident early play-calling and your find yourself trying to dig out of a 28-6 deficit. Thought they might actually pull it out until the 2nd play of the 2nd half was a bad decision on an option pitch that went for 6. I'm confident we will get it together. Seems like we go through this same rotation every year. Pitt played a great game, and beat us in every aspect. Our boys didn't even want to make tackles after a few stiff arms. If Pitt can keep playing like this then it will shake this district up no doubt. Good luck to you guys!

downtheline
Teams win and teams lose. Pittsburg has walked thru the valley of death with the mugging we took from Henderson and hitting the bottom with the loss to Tatum. After Friday night I wouldn't count any team out much less Atlanta. Atlanta will beat PG and then it is one game at a time.
