GWbearnation
Yea about that... Either way, we have a lady that photographs that was on the goal line. If there is a clear view we can see, it will show up. and two days later still waiting on that picture... if you were in the stands, no way you know for sure the ball crossed the goal line.... so provide the picture (not that it matters, not like we have replay in high school ball)... and things cant be changed I promise you GW has had their fair share of "spot" calls go against them.... For what its worth the head official of the game Friday night is a resident of Gilmer, Texas.
Justafan00
That's why I have my opinion, and you have yours. Regardless, the refs are to blame for our QB being hurt on our last drive, who also plays safety. Obvious late hit on the QB, right before that nasty facemask that ended his night. You can check every post I've ever made, you will never see me blame the refs, and I'm not now. I am not going to critique everything, because there is no point. It's an Atlanta fans viewpoint versus a Gladewater fans, and one team won, and the other lost. There's really no point in going any further with it, as nothing will change my opinion on what I saw tonight. What I am saying is though, is that was a touchdown, I will have a picture of it probably early next week. I'm just curious how the ref's are to be blamed for your QB being hurt? Did one of them make the hit? Regardless of a flag or no flag, the kid gets hurt because of the hit. The film shows the hit to NOT be late by the way. I think the fact that Atlanta only had 159 yards of total offense might have had something to do with it. And by the way, that officiating crew that had the game has called not one but TWO (6A) State Championship Games and countless quarter & semi-final games. I think they can handle this one...lol

Nothing will change what happened last Friday night.

Nothing will change what happened last Friday night. You keep saying you have your reasoning for saying what you have, but as of yet you haven't explained. We all get the fact that you are upset, not only about the outcome, but your opinion as to why that outcome happened. You stated in your first comment many pages ago that it would be your one and only comment, but yet you continue to post in response to others. If you want to move on, move on. It's your choice if you want to continue to post or, like the game, do you blame others for your not moving on? Look, I feel for you and all the Atlanta fans, but one game hasn't put y'all in the situation you are in. Now y'all just need to go out and win your last two games. Y'all have the tie breaker with PG so hope for a two way tie instead of 3 way.

It was my fault, because I knew that it would draw as must criticism as it did, so I should have just kept it to myself. I don't know why it surprised me to get the reactions that it got, I should have known better. Moving on to next weeks thread. Ridicule my comments all you like, just don't bring it to week 10.
