Tigers89
I will leave the talk alone of our game from this Teague-Malakoff thread. Sounds like this game in Malakoff was a good one though, congrats on the win Tigers. Teague seems to be improving each week and will be one tough out in the playoffs once again. These first round D9 vs. D10 games will be some pretty dang good matchups
gameday88
Malakoff really did not look like their normal selves at times tonight. Busted coverage, lots of turnovers and overthrown passes. But playing against a good team was the reason for alot of it. Teague has alot of size and stregnth. But the thing that impressed me most was how well they covered our receivers. Their defensive backs were outstanding.

Congrats to yall win 4 more games and see yall in corsicana for the region finals!

Tigers2016
Teague has a really good defense. Very big and physical. Their offense is not too shabby either. If they had a quarterback that could throw the ball they would be really tough with the running game that they have and those big offensive lineman. Cannot wait for 2 weeks to see how these two districts match up with each other in the first round of the playoffs.

Allheartnoquit
Enis, waxahachie, midlothian are better choices All of those are north of malakoff longer drive for Teague but obviously better choices
KellyLeak
All of those are north of malakoff longer drive for Teague but obviously better choices Nah, hop on 45 and be about the same. Teague is roughly 20-30 mins south of Corsicana and Malakoff is 30 minutes east of 45.
Tigers2016
All of those are north of malakoff longer drive for Teague but obviously better choices actually it would only be a 10 mile difference for Teague then Malakoff in any of these locations. So I think any of these locations would be fine

Didnt think malakoff would have to go to cana then up figured there was a quicker route. That would be better then.

YoePride88
I saw that malakoff went into half time with a lead that should've been held by the tigers. I know football malakoff should have went to the ground and used the clock. They allowed Cameron to get the ball back and never burnt any clock. The amount of kids been played doesn't make up for blowing that sustainable lead. I think Malakoff was out coached. The tigers haven't had to win many games lately off the coach making real decisions to change the game. don't question my knowledge of football. What happened was Malakoff was puttin' a whoopin' on Yoe's butts... BUT, then their players started comin'over in front of the Yoe sideline after big plays and jumpin' up & down and throwin' their arms in the air yellin', "WHAT NOW?!" and stuff. What happened is they poked the bear...

TigerPride2
I don't wanna blame it on being fatigue Malakoff lost by one point. It was a game were malakoff could have utilized more clock and came out with the victory instead of giving yoe chances and times to score. But hey last year was last year this year the tigers are hungry
gameday88
Malakoff missed 5 extra points in the game. To me, that was the difference. The momentum also shifted when Malakoff went into slow it down mode after getti g up by 25.

KellyLeak
So one guy said it wasn't depth, said to take it slower. Another guy pops up and said it hurt them when they slowed it down and got out of rhythm. Who is right?
KellyLeak
After what I listened to on the radio the other night, how can any fans question the staff and their decision making? Radio made it clear that Malakoff was the smaller team and they rotated their big guys a bunch where Malakoff can't do that. Sounds like the kids gutted it out and the staff prepared them during the week.
Coach0001
I would add to the missed 5 xps and there were two times 4th and goal at the 6 because of the state of the kicking game they had to go for it and came away with nothing. Two fgs there would have been huge difference  Obviously the kicking game is now a strength as that soph has grown up and kicked crucial 30 and 35 yard fgs Friday night
