JTFAN99 Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 Whats up with JT boys basketball? they had a very good coach a few yrs ago that resigned due to some off the court issues. He was replaced with his young assistant coach. He has had a couple of .500 type season, and then a couple of 20 win seasons the past couple of yrs. But they didn't really beat any very good teams. As a matter of fact they went 6-6 in a weak district in one of those 20 wins seasons. Last yr, they had a couple of very good players, that help them win alot of games. I've seen them a couple of times this yr, and they just don't have a ton of huge difference makers. Their best player, Bryson Smith, played football so they took alot of losses earlier that could have been wins, but again, other than him and Mashaud Moore, their not very deep on talent this yr and they have no height. Tallest player is a 6'4 sophmore. I have heard some say that 6'5 wr Keandre Street is one of the best basketball players in the program, but he is on JV.
