micotrav Posted December 10, 2016 Share Posted December 10, 2016 I like that Mineola offense with so much firepower, but if you have followed Mineola much this season, I know you have got to love that Jacket defense! Holding their last three opponents to an average of 6 points per game. That is holding the Regional-Semi, Quarterfinalist and State Semifinalist football teams to less than 7 points per game. That is almost unbelievable. When Mineola stopped Pottsboro 46-3, you just had to believe that they were playing at a very high level. Yoakum beats favorite and undefeated Malakoff to win the State Semi's 28-24! Mineola will have a tough one to win it all. I'm going with Mineola, because....their my favorite team in this division and class. But what a game Yoakum had beating Malakoff with five minutes to go in the game. Down going into the fourth quarter and beating an undefeated football team proves that Yoakum will be a tough out, but I really believe that there are few teams that can beat the Mineola defense.
