BigWhoop
Being more or less a suburb of Paris I see more families moving that direction. They are in the middle of the pack in 3A D1 and won't move up anytime soon. Alot of smart kids out there and with the right leadership beginning in the 7th grade I see good things in their future. I am one of the few that think an AD should be a big part in the lower grades program. That is where the fondation is layed. You can't build without a strong fondation Well if you applied for the job and got an interview, I'd tell them that exactly. I don't know why you wouldn't want to be heavily involved at the lower levels, get those kids thinking like you want them to think at a young age, less bad habits to break when they get to 9th grade. if you applied, good luck. Hookem73
Interviews over. Sounds like it's down to 3. I will post when it's decided. I would post names but I'm not sure if that's the right thing to do.

BigWhoop
Greg Mouser the DC from Argyle has accepted the job. Congrats to Coach Mouser. P'Land certainly pulled one from a successful program. Seems like y'all have had a track record of doing that the last few hires. Good luck next year.

supermaroon
Congrats to the coach if he can pull off some of that Argyle magic in Pland going to make this district even tougher for my Bulldogs. What is his connection to the area or was just wanting his first head coaching shot?

tdJesus
I've seen plenty of Argyle games over the past few years. There is no one else I've seen who makes better defensive adjustments at the half than Argyle has. He should be just fine.
OLEMAN
Well if you applied for the job and got an interview, I'd tell them that exactly. I don't know why you wouldn't want to be heavily involved at the lower levels, get those kids thinking like you want them to think at a young age, less bad habits to break when they get to 9th grade. if you applied, good luck. That is where alot of small schools fail. Football is taught in the 7th and 8th grades. It is only refined in High School. The schools that are at the top year end out consentrate on th younglings
Destry
I agree with the emphasis on the jr high program. Question is why do so many schools put the young coach with the jh instead of the older more experienced coaches?
