Alto pulled away from Big Sandy late in a shootout, and Cushing squeaked by Hawkins in their BATTLE ROYAL. According to Hawkins ISD Superintendent Morris Lyon, "at the end of our home game last night a coach from the opposing team ran onto the field to address our players resulting in a penalty against their team. Lovelady at Joaquin San Augustine at Groveton Carlisle at Overton Shelbyville at Garrison Alto at Arp Cushing at Burkeville Our district is currently 7-5. I'm taking Joaquin (we're gonna kill the snake that keeps biting us against Lovelady), SA (got Groveton's #), Carlisle (haven't they beaten Overton like the last 20 years?) Garrison (Shelbyville just hasn't showed me anything yet), Arp (just too much for Alto I'm afraid), and Cushing (Burkeville doing good to field a team). 4-2 this week. Garrison beats shelbyville because in all honesty I don't care if shelbyville wins another athletic contest ever.(their adults can't handle winning anyway.) Alto won't be enough to take down Arp.
