Unrestricted Free Agents

Rolando McClain- gone

Mo Claiborne - played probably his best season, him or Carr come back

Ron Leary- valuable starter/backup when Collins went down, likely gone

Barry Church- cost versus production

Mark Sanchez- gone

Andrew Gachkar- solid special teamer and backup, money versus youth

Darren McFadden- gone

Lance Dunbar- his niche in the passing game keeps him on team

Jack Crawford- backup rotation guy, money versus youth

Gavin Escobar- gone

Terrell McClain- rotation guy, health concerns versus money

Justin Durant- gone

Joshua Thomas- gone

Terrance Williams- not a true #2 WR, anything more than #3 pay is too much

Kellen Moore- will be a welcome addition to the coaching staff

JJ Wilcox- improvement this year has him back

Brice Butler- #4 WR

Restricted Free Agents

Ryan Davis-gone

Exclusive Rights Free Agents

David Irving - stepped up his play, versatile DL will be back

Richard Ash- gone

A healthy Jaylon Smith should improve the LBs. Depth and special teams should be the most Dallas looks at there unless they wanna upgrade the SLB.

Both starting safeties are UFA. You also have Byron Jones who could slide into that FS role full time. You might also move him to CB depending on what you do with Claiborne and/or Carr. This and the DL is where Dallas should concentrate most of their scouting and resources.

Lawrence missed 4 games and played way too heavy. Irving really played up to his physical attributes at times this year. Dallas needs to find a DE or 2 that can pressure the QB. Thornton, McClain, Crawford and Collins are a solid 4 man rotation inside. McClain just can't stay healthy.

The only spot I see on offense that could use a walk in, day one starter upgrade is that WR#2. There is nobody when Dez is out that draws a double from the D. TWill is more of a 3 than a 2. Get Dak another weapon.

So when will Dak ask for a new contract?

Probably around that third year of his rookie contract. Especially if he turns into that franchise QB( which it looks like he will). Russell Wilson got his big deal I think his 3rd year.

Yes but the end is near. If the Boys had hit on Escobar he'd be in that sweet spot of being his replacement. Escobar hasn't and that's why he should be gone. I'm not saying take a TE with the 1st two picks of the draft. If the talent is there and the grade is there in the mid to later rounds I'd take one.
