Wow. No, Double Wow, Soph twins already committed. Shazam, how does the Dad & G'pa find shirts big enough to cover their chest? Got to be very proud.

My eyeballs stuck out on stems when I was listening. Although they were very solid and talented I thought PG was the better team. I think a lot of that has to do with the program at PG. JMO

SS-Soph. committed to OU

Catcher soph. is the twin brother of the SS is committed to OU

2nd baseman soph. is committed to Texas

RF soph. is committed to TCU

Pitcher that didn't even touch the field in the series.soph. is committed to TCU

Pitcher that pitched game 2 is a soph. and is committed to Baylor

Also 5 seniors signed LOI'S to play at the next level but none were D1.

I think I remembered this all correctly. This is what an Argyle parent told me.

So this PARENT told you that 5 sophomores are committed to play D1 baseball at the above mentioned and 5 seniors have signed with non D1 schools....I want to have a drink of what that PARENT is drinking..LOL get off the cool aide. I sure did not see this in Argyle

If this is so the scouts recruiting them won't last long at their respective schools

idk if they are all committed to a d1 school but that is a very, very talented bunch of sophomores on the team

now of the older ones, i definitely didnt see a bunch of d1 kids like i remember seeing college station rolling through 3a

Oh it's true, my son done the research and not only did the parent tell me I seen the paper trail with my own eyes. Do your research and you will see.

And the scouts DO know what they are looking at. They pretty well know what these sophs. progression will be by the time they get to college.

Needless to say they will be a force to be reckon with the next two years.

Well you did send me links and yes their accounts say they are committed. Amazing how all these 5-6 D1 sophs and 5 other next level players got swept by a team that has 1 committed player to Seminole JC. (Bolden) Again, I just didn't see that last week but I could have been blinded for whatever reason..LOL Thanks for the links and yes if these 5-6 D1 commits get better you better watch for the Eagles in the near future.

I agree. I think a lot has to do with the program PG has built. There may be "too many superstars" on the Argyle team IDK how the team chemistry is. Also, I think PG has the better coach but JMO.

Going into bottom of 8th, Dallardsville Big Sandy & Thorndale tied 2-2. DBS batting.

Top of the Ninth. Austin Hendrixs pitched 8 innings for DBS. Had 15 K's.

Thorndale had men on first and second with two outs. Batter singled to left and LF threw out runner at home. Wildcats dodged a bullet.

I wondered if Evadale left their bats at home when we played Thorndale, but they have some durn good pitching. Going to the 10th.

FYI: A combined total of 3 seniors on both teams. I think DBS has 1 & Tdale 2.

Dallardsville Big Sandy defeated Thordale 3-2 in the bottom of the 11th. Bases loaded with two outs, 3-2 count, and he walked.

As I predicted, one very close ball game. And winning this one should be a big advantage because a lot of pitches throwed.

They'll be back at it Saturday.

Correction: Radio announcer said 3 seniors on the field. I thot he meant teams. DBS has two starting, and two on the bench. Thorndale has 1 starting (not sure about bench). Both teams will be a force next year.

Series resumes at 4 today.
