t-dub
222 is what Beckville turned in at the classification time. The 1st day of school as a 3-A' we had 195. Graduated 60+ Enrollment year with only 40+ coming in as freshman from 8th grade.

I wish that Spring Hill, Gladewater, and White Oak were in the same district.... be same great football games with a lot people at them. Also good for each of the schools considering how close they are.

Make for a good District. The one problem I see is four of the teams would be playing for second place in Golf. Like that would really be a concern. Allheartnoquit
Heard through the grapevine that Teague's numbers are on the decline and will be in 3A D2 if not this cycle but for sure the next enrollment. Teague is at 320 so hopefully they move numbers up slightly. Also Fairfield should drop down to 3A D1 on this next cycle!
Allheartnoquit
This would be the most logical thing to do but UIL is not logical 4A D1- 790/1099 (309 student difference) 4A D2- 480/789 (309 Student difference) 3A D1- 365/479 (114 Student Difference) 3A D2- 252/364 (112 Student Difference) 2A D1- 178/251 (73 Student Difference) 2A D1- 105/177 (72 Student Difference)

The seniors that graduate in May 2018 (seniors 10/17) will be in the numbers that determine what division a school is in the fall of 2018 & the fall of 2019. Some of these 2018 graduates will be attending out of state universities, some will be so caught up in college life that there is a good chance they won't even attend the homecoming game. some will be serving in the military and won't be able to attend. t-dub, said: 222 is what Beckville turned in at the classification time. In the smaller schools more especially there is a big difference between the incoming 8th grade that will be participating in high school sports in the years that were predetermined by the graduating class before them. count the incoming 8th and not the graduating 12 the UIL is not logical Did hsf99 just say that the UIL is not logical? Surely not. these are learned individuals that do not take the easy way out but always consider what is best for the students & schools.
