Vernon up to district 2 Everyone would be singing "Turn out the Lights the party is over" Should be easier to find a team in that area even going further N & W to fill in district 3. Guessing I don't think they will but I also am not sure the top number will stay high enough to drop Gladewater, Tatum & Atlanta. I never can predict what the UIL will do. I didn't do that because I checked the teams west and couldn't find one that was close enough. All that being said I based my predictions on putting teams together based on proximity to each other. We know the UIL doesn't always do that.

One thing I CAN say is that numbers don't go down ... I have seen them stay the same, especially in the lower classes ... but I can't remember in this century them ever going down

The number of schools in each division does affect. there are some schools still trying to determine whether they will rebuild or combine with another school. This is one thing they look at when putting out the numbers for each division, trying to have a workable number in each division. Dividing into districts will come later.
