Still don't see how thankfully y'all are in that District so a playoff spot all but good. As for Atlanta not so much

Yes.....because a 1st round matchup against PG sounds so tantalizing. I'm overfilled with joy. It's been a rough season lol

I am a Pitt fan and was at the game Friday night. I don't disagree that we are a beatable team but Baca did not try too much against Atlanta. We didn't pass a lot like we normally do and we just kept running the ball most of the night. I will agree that Atlanta has a lot of good looking athletes with great speed but they do lack discipline. I was a little upset at the refs for not calling roughing after previous extra points when it should have been called which I think led to the injury of our kicker. I did notice that after the rabbit player through punches to the Pitt player and the coaches for Pitt pulled our players together, he scolded them pretty good to keep their cool. I did not see that on the Atlanta sideline. All that aside I think Atlanta will have their hands full with Pleasant Grove as we all will. Atlanta can hold their own if they can stay focused.

I'm not looking forward to this game at all. Atlanta is playing without anything. For the 2nd straight year, they've looked like they didn't even want to be on the field against Pittsburg. They deliberately made late hits on the punter/kicker only 1 play apart. It was so bad, that the Pitt crowd was chanting about it. Then on Pitt's next drive, they chose to fight. When said player that started the fight was escorted to the sideline, the coaches barely even acknowledged it. No discipline.

We're the most talented program in the area that puts up the worst results. Even when we have state champ caliber talent, we fail to find a way to use it. This is the 2nd year in a row we will sit and watch our talent wilt away and our football program fail, and it's pathetic.

So needless to say, I'm dreading this game Friday. Do we have the talent to beat PG? Yes, most definitely. Will we use it? All signs point to NO! I doubt we come within 30 points of PG. Just being honest. Go Rabbs!

Sounds like youve got it all figured out. Maybe you should go down to the field house and give those coaches a hand

PG coming off one of the biggest wins of their recent history.......I seriously doubt Atlanta will catch them on a down night. In fact, the entire district will be feeling the effects of a team rolling hard for that number one playoff seed and more. Once a really good and physical team like PG is this year gets rolling.......look out!! JMO from seasons of experience as an Argyllian. They are gonna be a tough out, for sure.

You're not telling us anything. When we beat Gilmer again, I hope we tear down the goal posts lol. Been waaayy too long.

RegalEagle, I think this may even top the victory over Argyle in '09. That was a big win, and biased 'cause my kid was in it, but there is still ball to play.

PG can and should take care of district business. The potential of a rematch is thrilling, but I know the kids are focusing on one at a time, so for now, the Rabbits.

It should be an electric night for Homecoming, and I expect them to execute.

PG with the win.

I heard the Rabbits may be moving down to 3A next year, any truth to that??

If they weren't splitting 5A...Atlanta would def drop along with the likes of Tatum and Gladewater. Now that we know they're splitting 5A....who knows. We don't know what it's going to do to the 3A cuttoff line.
