  1. 1. Should UT and A&M play in a bowl game?

    • Yes, both sides need to stop being babies and play each other.
    • No, neither side gains anything from resurrecting this rivalry.

Lol,  you’ve got it figured out.  If you’re staying at the casinos get the taxi to take you to silver star.  It’s pretty good.  I’ve also heard 2Johns is pretty good but I’ve never been.

2Johns is my favorite steak in Shreveport/Bossier.

the Cub bar at the intersection of King’s Highway and Youree is supposed to be good too.

The Village Grille was the best, but it’s not open anymore.

I hear tell you need to have worked some overtime before going to 2Johns

Then you woke up , A&M would never let that happen. Kinda of reason why Texas can't get any others bigger teams to agree. Only the Iowa St, Kansas or occasionally non conference game.

Being a reasonable man, I would support an alternative arrangement- the “Permanent Fund Arrangement”. In a three year cycle, two games are played in Austin and one game in College Station.

Make it even four games with two at DKR and two at Kyle Field. If you try to do three with two at DKR the Aggie response will be exactly what JF posted just above this post.

Lol that's a no go . I like have the Cotton bowl when A&M finishes up with Arkansas contract or Texans stadium would be nice . Opening weekend or Rivalry weekend would be fine.

Okay, one last option - the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M System, President of Texas A&M @ College Station, & their Athletic Director make a public apology to The University of Texas @ Austin.

Keep your game. I’d literally rather A&M disband their football team than ever apologize for anything related to this rivalry.

I would like to counter.  UT must in return apologize for the horrible excuse for a sports network in the LHN.  They must pay reparations to the entire state of Texas and all fans of college football for this terrible excuse for TV.

Aggies then must apologize for their epic collapse and failure to grab hold of the state’s talent and improve the quality play and result on the field.  In return, they must donate the swagcopter and any other swag gear to the nearest local high school

We'll not apologize for ESPN wanting to give us $300 million!

It was to be the LoneStar network, but others turned it down according to some reports

That could have been great...

all of the Texas colleges... include some of the better d2 and d3 schools.  Give each school a weekly show.  Texas style sportscenter.  Press conferences, plus random sports with football on Saturday and re-runs the rest of the week...

clearly, the focus would be on Austin and CS and Ft Worth, but all of Texas could have been interesting

And it’s so packed that you can barely even move through the seating area.

It's so loud in there you can't hear anything.   The last time we went there my wife and I were literally screaming at each other across the table ...
