Heard there was a lot of highly qualified current AD's and winning HC's that were never even considered for the job at Bonham. I'm wondering if they will be given a shot at the HC job since passed over on the AD job. Mind boggling for sure.

Sounds to me like they have ZERO desire to win in football. When you separate the duties of HFC and AD you set yourself up for failure and the odds of failure increase dramatically when you don't hire a former football coach as an AD. The AD doesn't necessarily have to have been a HFC, but the AD needs to have coached football if you really want to win.

Anyone know what happened with the guy at Eustace? It seemed like he had a decent record.

School board-- It's foolish not to have a cause, but there is nothing more dangerous than a fool with a cause!

Sad b/c Ragle has been building that program & been very competitive in a tough dist. They just got put in a soft district.

Saw their new district doesn't look too tough. Bad deal for Coach Ragle. Hope he bounces back quickly.

According to Matt Stepp, Bonham took a DFW assistant to the school board last night and they voted no. Looks like a mess in Bonham.

Is that the same school board that approved a former girls basketball coach as AD?

A male coach that has never coached a down of football?

Yet, they expect him to hire the best football coach available?
