I can give you a +1B for that

But I was looking for a subpoena for you after you (DOB) outed Matt Stepp with that picture. Some might get confused and call him Mike.

Stepp is a cut above anybody in his profession ... I doubt he would care much what a guy who has socks older than he is thinks.

I have been told I have a "different" sense of humor .... but I'm willing to bet that he does too ... lol

I think it has a nice football touch to it myself. It’s acheived a state championship couple district championships. But to answer your question, the towns of Melissa and Anna were named after the railroad founders daughters.

Melissa and Anna were kin to Hettie the Witch? or is this a different RR founder?

Haven't seen Melissa ... but I understand the Dual Threat QB is very good.

Watching PG's interior defense, I don't believe much will be gained there.

Many here feel that it is a passing offense that ends up defeating PG, assuming it possesses an O-line who can give a QB time.

That being said, Melissa's QB may be more of a threat on the edge - so keeping him in the pocket may be systematically problematic ...

As a result, I think a great deal of the pressure to have an excellent game will fall on the Def Ends ... who are going to be asked to both contain and cover ... both a which can be a tall order versus a dual threat ...

Don't know what Melissa likes to do, but from what I have seen of PG ... I would start with sprinting out into Trips.

On the other side, Melissa probably hasn't faced a compressed attack like PG ... so I'm not sure how they will stand toe-to-toe on the inside to protect the alley flanks.

Not really much on predictions, but I can say that if Melissa hits big plays it could be a high scoring affair - especially if PG coughs up the ball.  If PG doesn't cough up the ball it is quite possible that PG may play ball control - the best defense being an offense who runs the clock.

Personally, I'm thinking PG ... but not absolutely sure why other than my gut tells me that this is their destiny season ... and I think next year destiny will be with Melissa, assuming they adjust well to the move up.

But, like I've said many times - I've been wrong before .... and at my age, I reserve the right to be wrong ... GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS - and stay healthy

Celina had 106 total yards for the Game! 1 touchdown off a fumble inside the PG 10 yard line and 1 garbage time.. I'm not going to sugarcoat this . PG controlled this game. The defense all but shutout Celina. It was a very convincing win. Stop acting like PG hardly beat Celina. They never came close to beating PG. It was a dominant win for the grove period. Geeeez!

Exactly.

The only way PG starts out slow, is if Melissa has someone as disruptive as Celina's #45. I've literally never heard anything from Melissa stating their d-line is amazing, so this could be very interesting.

PG's #40 will play a huge roll in this game as Melissa tries to pass. He will virtually cut the field in half, because he's so hard to throw past/see through, on top of his pass rush. Reminds me of our #43 Allen we had the past 4 years.

Melissa by as many as they want

Finish your crow sandwich, then come back and troll.
Celina showed a lot of class after the game, good sportsmanship.
Maybe you could take a lesson.

Be curious to know what PG held Celina to as far as total yards rushing/passing? I know Melissa held Celina to 145 total yards all on the ground. Celina had 0 passing yards.

Not sure on the totals. Celina only had 17 total yards and zero first downs at half time. That's the last I heard of, didn't hear a game total.

Our qb is 6'3 shouldn't be a huge problem

No stopping PG this year. Nobody. They are on a mission. Very tight knit group of talented kids with some of the very best coaches in the entire state at any level

I heard the term "destined to win." I agree, it's in the stars...things have lined up perfectly for years to bring these guys together. Coaches, players, parents...we all can feel it but we STILL HAVE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. Nothing is handed to anybody.

WOW! You might need to put the homer kool aid bottle down. You almost lost to a bad not so great Tatum team, I hate to be the one that has to bring you back to reality. At this point in the playoffs, any of the teams left in 4A div.2 are very capable of taking out PG.

The defense I saw last night was on a difffrent level. Well coached. Never out of position. Hard hitting. Athletic.

The speed the running backs for PG have is nuts. Blazing!
