Balanced but not overwhelming...will not run for 145 yards on PG. 

Those stats are way way off. Our qb has 3000 yards passing 8 interceptions and 38 tds. Hell the rushing stats are way off also. Both our runningback and qb have over a 1000 yards rushing this year. The math don't add up.

We did to PG about what West Rusk did to Newton. Contained a monster for 4 quarters. Did a few things that the other 12 teams didn't do to mix it up on defense but offensively we couldnt do much. Don't think Melissa will be able to either.  Make no mistake, PG most likely has the best defense out of everyone in the playoffs and has plenty of fire power on offense. I wouldn't hang your hat on the 21-7 Tatum score.......in our first title run we beat a weak Browsboro team 14-13 in round 2 then tore people to shreds on the way to 15-0 much like the way PG is probably about to close out the season. Just don't think there's a speed bump big enough to slow them down.

Yeah...you know nothing. You're a newbie so I'm not wasting any time explaining this stuff to you. Go back and read my posts on the Gilmer game. We didn't almost lose that one either. No naivety here, we understand that any game can be won or lost by either team but none of the teams you mention have faced anything like the Hawks, 13 teams have. How naive do you have to be to think we can't beat any of those teams? You're just a trespasser, go back to Pinterest and find something crafty to do with your hands because you sure don't know how to use words.

Those posted Melissa stats are clearly from Maxpreps which makes them as reliable as a 1985 Yugo. Melissa has scored just under 600 points on the season which equates to approx. 80 TDs. The Cards avg about 500 yards a game and maintain close to a 50/50 split between run/pass.

The reason I say this, is strictly because of track results, which Melissa did decent in. PG has already faced and drummed the fastest team in 4AD2. Speed was virtually unnoticeable. Going to take a lot more than that to beat PG.

There are a few things that I'm thinking about in this game.

1. Defensive front. PG's front 7 are astounding. They allowed almost nothing last night. They hold the edges very well, and my does #40 disrupt plays. Melissa is going to need unparalleled line play to stop them from pressuring their QB. What does Melissa defensive front look like?

2. Ball control. PG cannot, CANNOT, continue to be careless with the football. I think I saw 2 fumbles last night that weren't even forced, PG player just dropped it. One resulted in a Celina touchdown. They're going to have to take care of the ball more than ever, especially here on out.

3. Will PG's secondary be able to hold up? They did pretty well last night, though it was against a team that can hardly pass at all.

4. PG #21 was awesome to watch. The guy stiffed armed some poor Celina safety to the ground, right in front of his mama any everything. He did it more than once too. Melissa is going to have to get this guy on the ground if they want to stop PG's running game. But, then that opens up the door for someone else to get some carries. Gotta love the wing t.
