Don't care about rep Nick, it's a childish thing.  sorry you feel bitter.  Merry Christmas

also if you're from West Rusk,  I never said a cross word to anyone from WR or about them

Don’t pay Nicky any mind she’s still upset about losing in the 3rd round and to add insult to injury they’re moving up a division next year.....just wasn’t a good ending to her year.😜

There's always a few people from each school who talk that way, just like when I saw and heard black Dallas Carter fans say " go back to west texas white boys" to Permian fans.  People like that are not the elected spokespersons for their schools, you have to understand that.  As far as I'm concerned, trailers are fine with me, heck I even like rustic cabins.

I must have missed somewhere your connection to HP?   Do you know someone from there or something? You keep saying “we”. Long ways from HP to Joaquin

Again,  I'm not from Jaoquin. Don't know much of anything about the place except it's somewhere in east Texas. I'm sure it's a nice place and all but I'm not from there.  That was a wild guess that Lion started  but he guessed wrong, he's still trying to figure out where I'm from.

Ahhh I thought you were TrueBlue82 . People probably mistake you for him a lot since you practically copied his screen name .

As just a fan of football, it was hard not to get into that game. Say what you want about JSJ being in that family and all the publicity it brings but the dude is a straight baller. Undersized yes but he can sling it all over the field, run very affectively and more than anything has the heart of a lion. It was pretty special seeing him will that team to a win. No matter what your affiliation is, that was a special special game.

I guess they don’t believe in playing defense in 5a ball.  The Manvel coach should’ve watched some of the two games before him.

I've seen some good defense played in the State games but for the most part defense is a thing of the past.

Agreed. Even my wife whose not a big football fan couldn't leave the TV. That was not just a good game but it was entertaining.

You missed the first two games yesterday.  Carthage completely shutdown Kennedales offense.  Pleasant Grove played a very physical brand of defense and WOS held Pleasant Grove’s ground game in check for the most part.  Defense isn’t a thing of the past, it’s still played. Just not late last night

I agree they both played good especially PG. Kennedale is like a lot of teams today they are limited in what they do. If you can bring 8 and 9 people in the box you can stop the other team.

Carthage/Kennedale was about as lopsided talent wise as the Carthage/Coldspring-Oakhurst State game was

No idea where you’re “from”, and don’t really care, but I think it’s obvious who your team is. Congrats. That was a heckuva game. Randy Allen is a legend.

Games like this is why I don't understand when old high school football coaches get on this site and spew the lamest cliche ever - "It ain't about the x's and o's but the Jimmys and Joes". About the biggest crock of you know what. Good Coaches make a huge difference on the high school level. Congrats again HP!
