KarnackKing
There is a reason Ft. Worth ISD has to cater to coaches outside the State of Texas.

Worth demographics don't always match up well with football talent... and the School principals can over-rule athletic coordinators etc in certain instances. It pays well, it's just different than ETX ISDs due to the size of it and most of it being run through a single central office.
CoachOrsagh
Not all FWISD is bad. We have an outstanding principal who works with our staff. We have a freshman and varsity athletic period with our entire staff in them. I am a coordinator and have only 2 classes. I have been a coordinator in East TX 5A schools with bigger teacher load than I have here. The pay is definitely significantly higher than any east TX assistant positions can pay. We are 3 weeks away from having a million dollar weight room completed and have a 4 million dollar field house that has been approved. We open up week one at the Star in Frisco and at the Toyota Stadium the following season. Yes there are schools in the district that are not great places to coach at, but our school is not one of them.
KarnackKing
What’s the furthest a FWISD football team has gone in the playoffs in the last 5-10 yrs?? Not being a jerk. I don’t know if there has been one that has made a deep run. I just can’t recall a team in the 2nd or 3rd round off the top of my head.
