I don't think anybody in our District will beat Newton. But 2nd or 3rd sounds good to me lol. Because 1st and 4th will be on Newton's side of the bracket.

All roads lead there eventually. I'll take our chances if it happens. If ya wana stun the doubters. All ya got to do is win.

I’m not like others. I don’t sleep on no one. Except maybe QC lol. You of all people should know what it’s like to pull out the unthinkable. Nobody gave y’all a shot against Dfield a couple of years ago.

TRUE DAT.....we pulled it off, and almost  pulled it off against ND last year as well... we should make playoffs this year and make it out of the first round if we get it together but who knows at this point.....

EF will keep it close at home not sure if they got the depth to win or not but I am hearing it’s possible #5 Chris Smith comes back this week if so it will be first time all year EF has had their best player on the field. Good luck to both teams should be fun to watch.

I don’t think Smith comes back until after the bye week. They will have to give it all they have with what they’ve been playing with so far. Haven’t seen Daingerfield play so I can’t make a prediction on the game. EF has to stay balanced on offense though. If they get to passing too much they seem to make too many mistakes. They are inexperienced at a lot of positions and it’s either the wrong route or an under thrown ball. Hopefully Coach Ford comes up with a good game plan and the players can execute it. Good Luck Jackets

DField is big, strong, and fast. Big duel threat QB. Really think they are the 2nd best D2 team in the region behind Newton.

Cool. I love high school ball myself. Some college. Haven’t watched a pro game in two years. Something about 2/3 A ball. Some 4 A ball too like Carthage. Gives the community something to rally behind.

I agree. There is just something about the small towns and their football games.

BTW I like Pewitt and usually pull for them to succeed over other schools (like their county neighbors lol).

Since EF are yalls main rivals are they having a down year in your opinion. Been awhile since we’ve met them it seems like

Yes they are having a down year. Lost all three linebackers, two starting receivers, the big power back and the QB. They will be good next year tho so this year is the time to get a good win.
