It sure don't sound like anyone in authority wanted to touch the root cause of the multiple instances with Woden.

Multiple instances? Please elaborate on these so called multiple instances. Everyone is so quick to grab their pitchfork and storm the castle that they forget simple facts such as who the aggressors were that started the incident.

Labeling the kids and school as racists is an old and ridiculous argument as well.

Eagles had 6 district games and had 2 games with punches and one game where an Eagle hit a kid with the ball in the face. So half of their games had issues. I can go on with more if you want me to.....and just cuz ya don’t get caught doesn’t mean stuff isn’t happening. I watch a lot of basketball

I'll bite. Which is the other game with punches thrown? Guess I missed that one.

Same Eagle player involved in several incidents...........Last year against Chireno looks around and nobody is watching and blatantly throws his elbow in the nose of Chireno only black player. Blood everywhere. Hi five from two school officials.....absolutely ridiculous....That is not physical play and has no place in the game.

The one where the kid from sville threw one and had to be physically restrained for about a minute before getting tossed...

So two of your three instances this year started when the other team lost their cool. Give me a break.

Wonder why they lost their cool.....Poor poor Eagles......All these other schools just picking on them....Playing in gyms with no fans as punishment. What is UIL thinking????And nice made up name with ya 3 posts....must be involved with the school and can't stand the truth. Guy cuts thru the lane and player sticks foot out to trip him. Hits the ground like someone shot em..... All part of basketball right......cross check with elbow to the head as you cut thru the lane....All part of basketball right....Just physical play?????Your arguments are futile.....I could go on for days.....Certain Eagle player tried to start a fight in summer league ball as well. Saw it with my own eyes....One thing I will say for sure....Eagles don't care who they play...They pull the same tactics with evbody.....Don't see how Cushing and Eagles made it thru the game......That was the dirtiest game I ever watched this summer

You got to be kidding about Shelbyville?  If the kid for Shelbyville was the only one to get tossed why were there no technical fouls being shot by Woden after this? Why were we shooting free throws after this instance?  Who threw the punch?

So your mother named you blueblood99?

Playing in a gym without fans happened how many years ago?

lol at my arguments are futile , I’ve said nothing but state facts about the situations you mentioned. Your whole argument is that it’s their fault if they started it, and if they didn’t start it it’s their fault cause they shouldn’t have made the other guys mad enough to throw punches.

I’m just assuming he was talking about when the sville kid got tossed when he said punches. I don’t know if it was a punch but he got mad and swung his arm around and hit the Woden kid and he pushed em off of him and whistles blew. Kid had to be restrained and yes he ended up getting escorted to the locker room. Definitely wasn’t a punch thrown by anyone from Woden in that game like was being implied .

Kinda like when you undercut someone and take their legs out on a rebound or layup.....common or dirty??? Or when a player does a jump shot and you put your foot directly under them so they will roll their ankle......Look this has went on for 25 years that I know of.....Basketball savy individuals know how to perform these kind of moves and not get caught. Not arguing with anymore. Nothing you can say will change my mind or the majority of schools in our area. And just know that the local Officiating chapters have been put on notice and watched films of this type of behavior. So if you are connected to the school please help be a part of the solution and allow everyone to just watch basketball and leave the rest of this nonsense on the playground....

I'm sure this and things being said to the Shelbyville kid had nothing to do with the score at the time. Also the Shelbyville kid going in for a layup and getting knocked to the floor on his head had nothing to do with the score. Just good clean hard nose basketball.

Never seen 1 kid get tossed from a game and the other team not shoot technicals. So I assumed both got ejected. Since Shelbyville shot free throws after this.

Is this the first time there has been an issue in a Woden game?  This year or in previous years.

Doesn’t take a genius to agree with said comments...... all you gotta have is a pulse and anyone can see this type of play is bad...... And as far as the racial slurs go.... This is 2019 and that stuff is outdated. Trash talk is one thing but racist stuff absolutely sets me on fire from people now days. I used to ride my bike 10 miles in one direction when I was a kid to a black community and play basketball until dark and then ride home.....Plenty of trash talk went on and heck that is where I honed my craft at trash talkn. It’s probably one of my better abilities is to talk trash to someone but let’s do our part as adults and kill this racism in our communities and then our cities and states and finally our country. Gotta start somewhere..... And if ya don’t think it happens on the court from an afore mentioned school just direct message me and I will tell you what a current player said his school name stands for as an acronym .... He told me himself on Lake Sam Rayburn this past summer....SO I KNOW IT HAPPENS!!!!!!

So no racial slur at all or only the ones you do not like? Being legit with this question because I played enough to know that it all works both ways, but only certain ones by certain people are the ones we tend to say are the "racial slurs". Asking for a friend

Oh yeah that acronym has been thrown out there for years.  We have to be better than that.  2019 now and that #### should have been gone by now.
