So proud of these Dragons.  Went in every game from day 1 ranked #1 in State till the championship game. The kids had a big target on their backs every game and handled the pressure all the way. STATE CHAMPS

Our coach is special. He understands how to get the most of his talent and how to stay calm during games.

Now if we could just get the main kids from the basketball court to the football field! We could have the kids to match up with any 2a school in the state. Especially the skills players!

Problem is we run a gimmick offense that is closer to 1919 than 2019. Literally!  It's not fun and contributes to injury.

Hopefully one day our top administrator will embrace this problem, step down, or get fired.

Me and millions others feel your pain. lol Unfortunately it's more than getting the "main kids" to succeed in every sport. Let's be honest, for whatever reason, usually it's the parents that feel the need to tell the coach how they should to run things, or what they should do with their child. Or even not allow their "baby" to play at all in that sport. Like say football because of the fear of the long term injuries. And it would interfere with other potential sports such as baseball. And then their child will choose not to play in certain sports, whether that's what they want or not, and choose something that they feel will please their parents. Anyways, it is what it is. I say all this because it's one of the main reason why our program here in Center will always struggle to succeed. Parents don't know when to BUTT OUT!!!

I thought them putting the net over the trophy, was pretty cool. I've never seen that before.

I was wondering who was the man handing out the medals for the Dragons? My guess, it was the mayor of Sheblyville, but that's just a guess. Anyone know?

Joe Tom Schillings (close) coach at Shelbyville when they won championships in 82 and 84. Also has a grandson on the team. The nets were removed almost immediately after the game ended. I thought that #### for the kids but after I seen what they did with them I thought that was a great idea.

You made the playoffs in football for the first time since ‘15. Most of the teams you lost to were really good. Give Coach B a break. He walked into a program that had been through three head coaches in two years. I’d say 5-6 with losses to teams like Joaquin, Tenaha and SA is pretty respectable.

Tenaha won state running a version of that gimmick offense in 2011.  Stick to being a fan, let the real coaches coach

You tell em greezy. Not everyone has to run the chunk and dunk in order to be successful.
