Eagleborn
It’s about high school. But it’s so hard to separate the former good ones and their college and pro careers with the new generation.

Sportsguru02
Me personally I have never seen anyone take over games like Stephen Hodge from Tatum and Curtis Brown from Gilmer just my opinion
HearEmaGrowlin
Chavis McCollister, Tenaha could singlehandedly dominate the opponent. He was fun to watch. Don’t know if he’s the greatest ever from East Texas, but he’s in the discussion.
TDJ89
Too many to call one the best ever, but the best two I ever seen play was Chavis McAlister from Tenaha and that #33 from Paul Pewitt

cotton84
Not considering their college and/or pro career - only high school..........Offense - Earl Campbell, defense - Dedrick Greenleaf, two-way player - Curtis Burns

DaveTV1
If I remember right Earl played linebacker as well in High School. I would not doubt it if he played linebacker in High School, because I heard he did. I heard he was one of the best linebackers to come out of East Texas. Of course I was too young to remember being only 4 his Senior Year of High School, but I heard things about him both on offense and defense.
