For a team that had 9 starters come back on defense, they are having some issues stopping folks.   The O may be young but the D are experienced.

These last two teams you played are not considered good?    Thankfully, your district this year looks weaker than last year.  That will help you.  Bottom line is your totally surprised that Lee is kicking your tail.

21 points was on special teams, so what do you expect win lee only has to go 10-15 yards to score. Injury’s on defense don’t make it better. But our offense is awful.

Did not know you had injuries on D.  Then I guess you have special team issues too.

Lee is MUCH improved IMHO.... but they have beat two teams right now that aren't very good.

They will be 3-0 after they beat Nac next week...... another team that isn't very good right now.

Good for Lee.  I hope they can sustain it through district play.

East Texas football is better when Lee is winning too.

Who had 9 starters back on defense? Definitely not JT. Lee had 9 starters back on defense and seems to be much improved.

It wouldn't have mattered as Lee ultimately won this game at the line of scrimmage.

I'm sorry my mistake.  Went back and checked DCTF and it's 8 they say JT returned on D from 2018 .

many people have been critical of JT Def Coord for yrs.

but right now it doesn't matter because JT is not a good team.  Fortunately for JT, the district appears to be weak too.

they had several guys on def back, and a couple of transfers of had college offers.  But I think both of them are hurt. Doesn't really matter though, JT is not a good team right now. Maybe they get better as we move along in the season.

Let me not take anything away from Lee.  its very possible that JT is bad...But maybe Lee is much improved. They have done what they needed to do and they have won both of their games by good margins.  Maybe Traylor is finally turningthings around.

well, we have heard injury excuses from fan bases before...but let me be clear.  Lee and Horn were just better than JT. And we all knew going into the season that Longview would be.
