We were up 7-0 and the clock was running. Our fans were kind of going crazy. Lol
SwarmingOnEm
Jacket starters saw a good 1 1/2 qtrs in this one. Don’t believe Cushing ever crossed the 50. I’d like to know our defensive stats

StingEmALTO
Alto holds Cushing to minus 33 yards in 61-0 cakewalk Progress staff reports CUSHING — Halloween came early for the Cushing High School football team, with the Bearkats having a truly frightful experience with a bunch of monsters of the gridiron from Alto on Friday night at a soggy J. F. Whitaker Stadium. Alto, ranked No. 8 in this week's Class 2A poll, rolled the Bearkats, 61-0, to move to 8-0, 3-0. Cushing, which has only defeated Alto once (1992) in 13 all-time meetings, now stands at 1-7, 0-3. Harmon West (10 tackles, 2 tackles for loss) and Cayle Irvin (9 tackles, 3 tackles for loss) led the Yellowjacket defense. Jackson Howell pitched in with seven stops and a tackle for loss, while Landry Smith and Foster Hall had four tackles and a tackle for a loss apiece. Meanwhile Todd Duplichain recovered a Cushing fumble in the end zone for one of the Alto touchdowns. Alto's Clayton Terry scooped up a fumble off the water-logged playing surface and ran it back 26 yards for another defensive score for the Mean Sting. Alto will host Hawkins (3-5 | 3-0) next Friday when the Hawks come to town. https://www.jacksonvilleprogress.com/sports/alto-holds-cushing-to-minus-yards-in---cakewalk/article_d518371a-f7b0-11e9-bd4e-2312ba2be52d.html
jacket44
Running the clock in the first quarter is ridiculous, and skipping entire mins. in the second half is even more ridiculous. We scored enough points, but taking snaps away from the younger guys is a shame.
