Here we go! Atlanta's backs are against the wall 2 week in a row. We're traveling to Hooks Friday in a very decisive game.

If Hooks wins - 1. Hooks 2. Jefferson 3. Mount Vernon 4. Hughes Springs

If Atlanta wins by 15 or more  -  1. Jefferson  2. Atlanta  3. Hooks  4. Mount Vernon

If Atlanta wins by 14 -   1. Jefferson  2. Hooks  3. Atlanta  4. Mount Vernon

If Atlanta wins by 13 or less -  1. Jefferson  2. Hooks  3. Mount Vernon  4. Atlanta

IT'S ALL ON THE LINE BOYS! TIME TO PUT UP OR SHUT UP! GO RABBITS!

I'm worried bout them backs being against the wall. We saw what happened when one team had everything to play for and the other didnt. Hopefully the kids can regroup and corral them running rabbits.

We're still not even sure who's going to be playing. We have 3 good backs.

Senior - Very physical, hard runner, good speed, but has a hurt shoulder (should be good to go)
Junior - Very fast, shifty, good vision (hurt ankle, hasn't practiced in 2 weeks)
Sophomore - Good speed, hard runner, physical - Had a breakout game against Jefferson (140ish yards). He will be ready to go.

I think this will be an absolute knock down drag out! A lot on the line. The big question is how will Hooks respond? If they have a hangover that’s going to be a problem. Will their coach panic again if they get down early? Atlanta has speed but not the speed Hooks saw last night, but Hooks did seem to be a few steps behind our Qb and Rb. If Hooks is able to connect on those passes Atlanta will be in trouble because that is their weakness. 2 really good teams no doubt.

If Atlanta can continue to play like they did last week, they can run with a lot of teams. If we could just get our speedy back to play his game, we'd be loaded with weapons. Atlanta played very physically with Jefferson. Had a lot of success on the d-line. Jefferson still broke some big plays, but we also made some big plays, even in the secondary (shock).

Hooks actually was in last week. Jefferson had to win and they did.

Hooks did not play their game. Went to a catch-up thing too early. The passing game will come when needed.  Jefferson May well have but not as one sided.  The 3 and outs kept the D on the field and they run out of gas. The bulldogs stuck with wat got um there.  The colors were blue and white but that was not Hooks playing.  LOL. I don’t know where this O came from
