Good game. Sville just finds a way to execute down the stretch to pull out close games. Seen them do it several times . Tigers had a few mistakes at costly times and it was the difference. Depends on which team you root for on the refs.....Some good calls and some bad. Looking back on it Tenaha will feel they let one slip away.......Basically a good effort on both sides by all kids involved.

It was a tough game for sure with a lot of emotion. I was glad things didn't get out of hand.

One of the reasons we execute down the stretch is our coach. The players pull it off but he knows what buttons to push when. The way he practices and prepares also has a lot to do with it.

Big matchup in Garrison tonight vs Tenaha.  I've never seen the town of Garrison so excited about basketball!

Someone please expound on the escalations between Timpson and Garrison the other night on the court. Heard there were police and arrest made and all kinds of physical altercations

It got a little heated like it usually does when these two teams play.  There was a couple techs called on Timpson and Timpson's coach lost his cool.  A Timpson player swung at one of Garrison's players and was ejected.  A fan from Timpson came across the court and was taunting Garrison fans.  He was being led out of the gym and resisted.  He got cuffed and got charged with resisting arrest.  Something for everyone to talk about, but always puts a damper on the game when these things happen.  Just pure silliness.

There was an ejection of a group of Timpson students in the stands from the game, there was a ejection from a Timpson player for trying to scuffle on the court, there was an arrest made on a fan from Timpson as he walked across to the home side walked in the bleachers and tried fighting a parent and as being escorted out by police he got aggressive with them also. There was a coach from Timpson that tried to interfere with the police handling the rowdy fan for some reason also! The local police and Garrison Admin handled it great because it could have gotten real bad real fast. Proud of the Garrison boys and fans for composing themselves pretty good!

Shelbyville 76 Martinsville 42. . 40 home wins in a row dating back to Feb. 2, 2016. . What a run!! Pretty amazing considering these types of milestones are usually accomplished by teams with multiple transfers and move ins.

We had very similar runs back in the late 70's and throughout the 80's.

Tradition runs deep 🐉🏀💪
