A whole lot has been happening around the district throughout the past few months...just a few quick hits on each team: Longview - Longtime DC Casey Pearce was named HC/AD at Brackenridge. L

JaMycal Hasty headed to the 49ers. 4 NFLers played for that 2013 Longview team.

Whoever gets that Wylie East job inherits what I believe to be an improved East team next year.

They improved from 2019, for sure. Agreed they should continue to improve, depending on who they hire.

Projected 7-5AD1 District MVP’s

Overall: SR RB Kaden Meredith, Longview

Offensive: SR QB Brayden Schager, Highland Park

Defensive:  SR LB Laqualon Hale, Longview

Nearly called it.

Overall MVP went to Highland Park QB Brayden Schager. Offensive MVP went to Longview RB Kaden Meredith, and Defensive MVP went to Longview SS Kybo Jackson-Jamerson (was always a toss up between him and Hale).

I already have the new content ready for the new thread, I'll have it posted Monday.

HP QB broke his jaw and chipped 4 teeth in the first half last week and never missed a down.   That’s a tough old school football player.
