I dont think so.  Leonard has (most years) been well coached on defense and given us problems

He showed you!!!!!!!  Leonard does always seem to have a really good athlete or two.  This year is no exception.

Their QB, DJ Brown is a very good athlete.  But without much to go with him, Gunter by as many as they want.

My dude, that info was not that hard to come by. A few minutes of research goes a long way before you post. Most around that area could tell you that Leonard rarely ever gives Gunter fits. You should know that if you follow Gunter much.

Blueflu is an older fella, who has started showing signs of dementia.  His mind is starting to play tricks on him I'm sure.  To tell you the truth, I didn't know that his nursing home had internet access.  I'm really surprised he's as computer savvy as he's shown.  I bet his wife or shift nurse at the home has to make these post for him.  He was a huge Gunter fan though

Leonard has only played three games.  Their two wins are against 2A D1 Wolfe City and winless 2A D2 Detroit.  Leonard lost to Bells who went up 35-0 with 5 minutes left in the third quarter on their way to a 42-14 final.

Leonard has 1,032 total yards of offense.  830 of those yards come from their QB.  406 yards in the air, 424 on the ground.  A RB for Leonard chips in another 188 yards on the ground, so of the 1,032 total yards, 1,018 of them come from just two players (plus the receivers - half the receiving yards are from one player).  Other than these two players, Leonard has 14 yards of total offense in three games spread among five other players.  It's pretty obvious who Gunter should key on.

I don't see the Leonard defense slowing Gunter's offense down.  They are giving up more points than teams score on average.  Gunter handled the one-dimensional running game from Bells pretty easily.  That's sort of their specialty though.  Even though Gunter beat a Bells team 41-7 that beat Leonard 42-14, Leonard could give Gunter more trouble.  They've had more problems with more balanced teams.  I can see them giving up some plays where the QB drops back to pass and then scrambles for yards.  Similar to what happened in the WW game.  Plus, I've heard that the week of practice leading up to the Bells game was a playoff-type week.  First "real" home game.  The same intensity Gunter had against Bells might not be there in Leonard.  Still, I don't think the 'drop-back-to-pass-then-scramble' will be consistent enough to keep up with Gunter.  I think Gunter wins big.
