Flags on that play while the back was fighting for yardage.  Might be a facemask.....they had him stopped cold.  BAd luck for ARgyle on that one. He was stood up and twisting.  Now they score after the penalty brings the ball close to the goal line.  Kick is good.  Argyle had a chance there to make a big stop but the facemask deal got them.

Argyle  14

LV           7

Still in the 2nd qtr.......don't know how muchtime is left

Those young Argyle posters get a little too homered-up for me.......I knew this game was gonna be totally tough with Rauls back in there.  He alone is trouble with a capital T, not to mention what he adds for his backs.  And the LV  D is always good.......they've played Argyle so many times now that they know what to expect and how to adjust.

So far, the Argyle running game is actually better than the passing game.  Looks like Rogers is just a tad bit hyped and needs to settle in a little bit.  He's hurrying throws when he has time.....even though he did need to hurry a few.  But only a few.......other times he had time and hurried.  But mabye he's just trying to get the ball out quicker to beat the ball to the receiver before the Dback can close.

Argyle did the same exact thing last year in the playoffs......ran the ball too much when they actually have an advantage just sticking with their passing attack.  I think they need to burn clock, but get a bigger lead first.  Sure they want to shorten the game, but get your offense in gear first.  These guys are used to catching the ball......you've got to use your best playmakers to keep those chains moving.  LV has a very tough defense.......running it too much gives their D the advantage.

Unbelievable.......what a game!!!  And what's even more unbelievable is no Livestream of this important matchup by anyone.  Great win for the Wildcats.......you have climbed the mountain, overcome great adversity, and now get to savor the sweet taste of victory.

What was left to conjecture in the middle of the season because of Covid.......has been solved. Paris emerges the winner. But not by much.......and in a slugfest high-scoring affair that is more to the game of the Melissa Cardinals. Congrats to the Melissa Cardinals on a great run and fine team they had this season.  Tonight Paris leaves with the trophy and the big win.......maybe another night it could have been a different result.  That's how close our District 7  is this  season.
